Writing breaks. Has it been that long?

Morning All!

Logged into my blog this morning and saw that the last time I posted something was over 2 weeks ago?! I am deeply ashamed, surprised, taken aback…however you want to put it. The problem is because I write so much every day I take it for granted that at some point I must have taken time to post something on here – obviously not. So once I logged in and saw this terrible surprise I started to think about how time and life rushes past you and even though at times it feels like it is dragging and takes so long, it never actually is. If you allow it life will run past you and before you know it, you are old (well older – always young at hear eh?!) and everything becomes ‘in hindsight I should have done this’…or ‘in retrospect I could have done that’.

This morning I discovered that even on blogs life is short – yes even in the cloud where everything is so high tech, time flys so we have to make the most of it.

About Plantain Periodicals

Hello! Welcome to the Plantain Periodicals blogs. The name stems from the kitchen moments I had with my friends at university cooking plantain and planning our lives together. I have used this space as a window into my mind and the way I make sense of all my experiences through writing. This is where I share those conversations and moments that happen inside my head as a young woman growing up in 21st century London. Hopefully you'll be entertained and also learn a thing or two. My main blog ad: www.nissiknows.wordpress.com My literature blog: www.plantainperiodicals.wordpress.com NMx
