Weird futuristic creatures; sci fi, aliens, tractors!

This will sound so crazy and affirm belief I have always had that I have a way over active imagination. I was driving home this evening and as I approached a roundabout, there were these huge eerie shapes, stranngely liut by the lights from the cars and the surrounding, looming traffic lights placed around the rounabout. Now being that I have an amazing imagination, the first thing that came to mind was that these large oddly shaped metal chinks were strange extra terrestrial creatures waiting at the roundabout to attack. Honestly, they looked like they were about to roll out and smash everything to smithereens. I was so close to taking a picture but then the lights changed at the lights and I was at the front so I had to move before everyone started having stress attacks about my delayed move.

What do you think it is that makes my mind think about things like that? I did study a sci fi literature module in my final year of university…

Anyway just thought I would share that thought with you.

About Plantain Periodicals

Hello! Welcome to the Plantain Periodicals blogs. The name stems from the kitchen moments I had with my friends at university cooking plantain and planning our lives together. I have used this space as a window into my mind and the way I make sense of all my experiences through writing. This is where I share those conversations and moments that happen inside my head as a young woman growing up in 21st century London. Hopefully you'll be entertained and also learn a thing or two. My main blog ad: www.nissiknows.wordpress.com My literature blog: www.plantainperiodicals.wordpress.com NMx
