What goes through my mind as I write my blog posts??

I am writing this post watching Waterloo Road, in my dressing gown, covered with a duvet because I am overly cold, and thinking about how to style my hair tomorrow. It is amazing how the mind can balance so many thoughts at one time. I don’t know how this works psychologically and/ or scientifically but its pretty amazing. I got thinking about the whole thinking process and then thought – why not write a blog about how I think about what to blog.

Without going in to too much detail, I write about the first semi sensible thing that comes to mind. I try not to mention things that are way too personal and affect other people in ways that they may not like. It’s strange sometimes because I really want to write about something but can’t because the consequences of writing the blog are not worth it. One day I will be a great writer who can disclose her deepest and darkest secrets without any repercussions.

About Plantain Periodicals

Hello! Welcome to the Plantain Periodicals blogs. The name stems from the kitchen moments I had with my friends at university cooking plantain and planning our lives together. I have used this space as a window into my mind and the way I make sense of all my experiences through writing. This is where I share those conversations and moments that happen inside my head as a young woman growing up in 21st century London. Hopefully you'll be entertained and also learn a thing or two. My main blog ad: www.nissiknows.wordpress.com My literature blog: www.plantainperiodicals.wordpress.com NMx
